Ellen started at DCL on Jan 31, 2022. She was looking for something new after 30 years in mostly finance roles at a couple of very large corporations. Ellen grew up in northern MN and went to college at UMD where she earned a B.A. degree in Management and Marketing. She has lived in Farmington for almost 20 years with her husband, Guy, and son, Lukas, and their dog—a mixed breed, named Bozer, who loves peanut butter.
Ellen enjoys reading, doing yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family doing escape rooms, watching TV, and movies, game nights, and ATVing. Ellen and her family are members of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Farmington where she is the Secretary for the Finance Council. Ellen and her husband also mentor couples who are about to be married.

Ellen’s favorite songs are anything by Taylor Swift or Pink. If you want to surprise Ellen, her favorite candy is Peanut Butter M&M’s and her favorite Fast Food meal is an Arby’s classic roast beef sandwich with curly fries. Her least favorite chore is washing floors, and her favorite outdoor activity is walking with friends and pickleball.
