Matt started at working at DCL in February of 2024. He grew up in a small town in rural Iowa. Matt attended the University of Northern Iowa to be an elementary school teacher. When he moved to Minnesota he taught 5th grade for one year and went into construction—he has now been in the industry for 30 years. Matt played football, baseball and wrestled in high school. He lives with his wife, 2 daughters, and 2 dogs. He enjoys supporting his daughters in all their sporting events. Matt also served on his local fire department for 15 years.
Fun Facts:
Matt doesn’t have a favorite song, but he does like 90’s country as well as new artists like Ryan Bingham, Cody Johnson, Larry Fleet, and Zach Bryan. Matt also likes 80’s hair bands. His favorite candy is Peanut M&M’s and his least favorite chore is cleaning. Matt’s favorite outdoor activities are hunting, fishing, and riding horses.
